Lydia LOVED the beach! She cried when I tried to get her out of the water. Even the crashing waves and rising water couldn't keep her away from the salty sea! She started to cry because her feet were freezing, but didn't want to be taken from the water. She will be a surfer girl some day! As for the rest of us land lubbers the sand was the ticket! We could have played in the sand all day, but we didn't bring an umbrella, which was a shame! Molli took home a very expensive souvenir from Santa Cruz beach- A massive sunburn!

Goodness Molli that looks like it hurt! When we went to Cali a couple of years ago I thought it would be cool to have a little bit of a tan before I got there. Didn't realize that my meds made me very sun sensitive... yada yada, I feel your burn! Looks like the rest of the vacation was very nice. We missed ya. I kept looking across the street wondering when the "hay" you were ever coming back!
